Our Company

A & P International, Inc. is a provider of cross–cultural business solutions. Originally founded in early 1989 in Bogota, Colombia and then established its headquarter office in Orlando, Florida on December 5th of the same year. As top producer A & P International, Inc. has been recognized as the 2009 Minority Business of the year by The Central North Florida Minority Suppliers Council for sales less than one million dollars, in 2010 as the Small Business of the year for Diversity in the work place by The Beacon Awards, and in 2014 its president and CEO, Mrs. Ana Maria Quintero Lowry was awarded by the Orlando Business Journal as a Woman Who Mean Business – Woman to Watch.

Ana Maria Quintero Lowry

Ana Maria is a leading expert in cross-cultural coaching and training with more than 33 years of experience in the consulting industry.  She knows how to sell and deal with clients and co-workers from different cultures which has yielded the highest closing ratio and return on investment for her clients and A & P International, Inc. This Colombian native, has traveled around the world, and proven her ability by coaching and training some of the most recognized corporations and entrepreneurs. Her clients include Wyndham Vacations Ownership, UCF. Florida Hospital Medical Group, The Bernd Group, Universal Studios, Comtech Systems, Inc., the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, and the Central North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (CNFMSDC), as well as many others. She received her Juris Doctorate and Master Degree in International Trade in Colombia in 1982 and achieved the following distinctions: “Women who Mean Business – A Woman to Watch” by the Orlando Business Journal- 2014, Finalist as Professional Hispanic of the Year by the Don Quijote Award - 2012, and positioned the company as Supplier of the Year – 2009 by the CNFMSDC and the Business of the Year -2010 by the Beacon Awards. Her contribution to the community as member of the boards for Christian Help, Central Florida Jobs Initiative and Central Florida Employment Council was recognized by United Way on their Awards ceremony as an Outstanding Professional Volunteer - 2015. Ana Maria is author of many articles and books chapters recognized worldwide. Her latest book, “Cross-Cultural, A New Thirst for Diversity Engagement” was released at the International Women Conference in Louisville, KY on August 2015.

William A. (Tony) Lowry

With a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Central Florida, and finances background in the banking and taxes industry, Tony, serves as CFO and manages the Finances Department of A & P International, Inc. In this capacity, Tony provides insight and recommendations to both short and long term growth plans for the organization; creates and establishes yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion, and approves cost and profit for each project. His approach is to work with the client’s budget for a win – to – win transaction for all parties. Tony has been awarded as Proposal Manager and between 2012 and 2014 has captured 110 + millions in contracts both for our clients and for A & P. Tony, a native from North Carolina, is also part of our executive training team providing his vast expertise in international marketing, financial and technical training to our national and international clients.  He has worked in, travel to, and trained people from 27 different countries.

Renée Lloret

Renée was born in Colombia where she received her BA in Business Administration from Los Andes University.  Shortly after, she moved to United States where she earned her knowledge and expertise in IT. Now she uses her over 25 years of experience in both Business Administration and IT leading A & P in her Vice-President role. Her primary responsibilities are assisting in growth and development of staff as well as the overall firm. This involves expanding and securing new business, managing project portfolio that meets and exceeds projections, and overseeing clients’ accounts. Renée knows the capability of our company and the influence to connect corporate America with minority business enterprises. She analyzes and ensures our partnerships with both profit and non- profit organizations. Renée brings to A & P and its clients her experience in working with Microsoft focusing in workload automation for clients with international markets traveling to Europe and the Middle East.

Richard Routie

Richard was born in British Guiana (now Guyana), South America and migrated to the US landing his first Wall St Job within a week. His vast expertise in business in the marketplace mainly in the financial industry has allowed him to be recognized as a leader in the industry serving as financial advisor and strategic planner with Ameriprise. His contribution to our organization, our clients and staff is invaluable providing them with advice on financial matters, making recommendations on ways to best utilize their money. The role involves researching the marketplace and advising clients with products and services available. Richard is also a great international conference speaker and trainer, and has worked in about 35 countries among various “peoples groups” such as the Zulu’s in South Africa, Tibetans in Nepal, and Canada.

Mary Ng

Mary is a passionate and strategic talent development executive with proven success in building talent capacity and capabilities, and achieving business results to enable company growth. Mary is a visionary leader with highly analytical skills, ability to translate strategies into actions, collaboration across boundaries with diverse groups to influence decisions and to lead positive change. Mary has expertise in establishing and implementing talent assessment systems, talent development solutions, talent management processes, and organizational effectiveness development. Many of the programs and tools Mary led and developed had earned awards and accolades. Learning opportunities excite Mary. While gaining her management experiences at Hyatt Hotels International, Mary embarked on her human resources development journey. Later, with the additional experiences in academic education at Northern Arizona University, Mary joined Darden Restaurants, a Fortune 300 company. It was at Darden where Mary successfully created talent development systems and tools that touched and impacted tens of thousands of employees and leaders in her 20 years tenure. Mary has earned many professional certifications and built a vast network. Mary, a native from Hong Kong, is also a member of our cross-cultural executive training team, balancing the various styles of our trainers with her analytic, calculating a detailed personality.

Juan Pablo Benítez

Juan Pablo has the edge and literal expertise to execute translations that are culturally relevant, captivating the audience of the readers in that specific culture, believing that what they read was original written in their native language. By doing so, he assists our clients in connecting with their clients and not just reaching out to them. Juan Pablo stays up to date with the translation industry standards and new trends with the desire to lead A & P’s translation team to higher standards that will surpass the clients’ expectations. As Translation Services Coordinator, he leads our translation team, reviewing and approving their work. In doing this, Juan Pablo and his team assist our clients in positioning their businesses in the Hispanic Market. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia where he studied Music and Literature at the Javeriana University. Juan Pablo has also taken many courses nationally and internationally and has gotten many certifications in Professional and Business Translations. His traveling around Latin- America, The Caribbean and North America has enriched him with the Hispanic culture experience that he after uses to enhance the Spanish translations that are his forte. Juan Pablo has served as translator and editor of books, magazines and articles that have received public recognition. He is executive translator for the Esquire Magazine and for the Resonant Productions for the Warner Brothers series E.R. (RCN Television).

Cathy Pinnock

Cathy knows how to develop a story in a way that captivates the reader’s full attention. With close to 30 years of experience in advertising design, business administration, marketing management, and counseling, Cathy has provided excellent editing work for our clients.  She delivers smart, conceptual thinking that activates far more consumers and ignites a pipeline of continuing work for our satisfied clients. Cathy, a native of Connecticut, has accomplished the following education merits: BA in Advertising Design from University of Hartford, Master of Business Administration from Simmons College School of Management, Boston and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Orlando. Utilizing her excellent skills and talent in the editing industry, she has written numerous articles and developed marketing brochures for major corporations. She has also worked as the Student writing Coach for Palm Beach Atlantic University. Needless to say our favorite work done by Cathy was her editing of A * P’s president, Ana Maria Lowry’s book titled: “Cross-Cultural, A New Thirst for Diversity Engagement” in which she invested tireless editing hours in making it the landmark piece it became. Her European roots and travels throughout European countries such as: Belgium, Wales, Holland and England to mention few, as well as the Caribbean Islands and South American countries, has provided her a great cultural experience that allows her to be one of our cross-cultural executive trainers. She is an experienced Multi-Cultural counselor and understands the importance of connecting with clients to help them accomplish their personal and professional goals.

Samuel Lowry

Samuel is our youngest leader, eager to learn and ready to serve. Acting as our Office Manager, Samuel provides administrative support to office operations, including some or all of the following tasks:  Data entry, conferences and trainings coordination, and training material preparation. Samuel also attends local meetings with leadership assisting in drafting meeting notes.  He coordinates, creates, or updates project communications including updating and compiling printing materials for events. Finally, Samuel assists our translation and editing teams due to his bilingual background. Since young age, Samuel developed a passion for cultures and loves to travel to gather more experience in this regard. He already counts in his traveling, visits to countries such as: Colombia, Argentina, Chile, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and European countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, and England.
